The results of a Check for Understanding can be viewed at any time. Results include an aggregate of student answers to the assessment questions. Results can be viewed both within the Assessment Center and exported as a PDF file.
1. To view the results of a Check for Understanding, navigate to the Check for Understanding Results screen, and click View Results in the Actions column for the desired Check for Understanding.
2. An Assessment Overview displays at the top of the Summary page for each Check for Understanding. The Assessment Overview details whether the Check for Understanding is Active or No Longer Active, the due date and time, the total number of questions, the number of responses, and the class average.
To export the results of a Check for Understanding as a PDF file, click the Export Results button.
The resulting PDF contains the same information that is contained in the View Results page, providing the number of responses, the number of questions, and a count and a percentage of the number of users who selected each answer. Correct answers are bolded in the PDF file.
3. The Question Analysis Overview breaks down the results of the Check for Understanding.
a. To sort the results by question number in ascending or descending order, click Sort by Question. Click on an individual question to view question details.
b. To sort the results by Average or Score, click Sort by Average/Score. This will organize the data to display the average of each question in ascending or descending order.
c. The Answers/Score column displays the percentage of participants who selected each answer choice within a question. The correct answer is denoted with a green outline. The incorrect answer(s) are denoted in a red outline.
The key at the top of the Question Analysis Overview section further explains what each color indicates.
d. The Standards Addressed column lists the standards associated with each individual question. Click on the Standard to view the Standards Detail, including related Eligible Content, assessments, and materials and resources.
4. The Standards Addressed section lists all standards associated with the Check for Understanding, including a Standard Preview, the number of Times Used throughout the Check for Understanding, and the Question Occurrence. The Question Occurrence details the question number where that particular standard is addressed.
5. Each question is displayed on the page, providing a count of participants who selected each answer choice as well as a percentage of how many participants selected each answer. The correct answer is indicated with a green outline and checkmark.
