You can use the Search feature to search the entire SAS site for items related to a specific keyword. The search results will include Materials & Resources, PD Center courses, administrative documents, and other helpful content.
1. The Search box is located on every page of SAS, directly underneath the SAS logo in the upper left corner of the site.
2. Type a search term into the Search SAS box and click the magnifying glass.
3. The Search Results page defaults to show you all results. You can narrow your search results using the filters on the left side of the page.
To narrow your results to a specific section of SAS, click the relevant link on the list on the left side of the page.
Note: To search for specific standards visit the Search Standards page. To search for assessment items visit the Assessment Builder.
You may also narrow your results by grade, subject, or course. Use the checkbox to select the relevant grade, subject, or course. To open a section that is collapsed, click the plus on the right hand side of the section label.
Note: Many administrative documents do not have a grade, subject, or course associated with them. Selecting those options may narrow your results too much and eliminate documents that are not tagged with this information. If you do not see the results you are looking for, try removing grade and subject filters to expand your search.
4. To open an item, click the title. The Content Type column shows the type of resource (e.g. downloadable content or PD Center Course). Any links that lead directly to a downloadable word document contain a download icon to the left of the content type.
