1. To access the Search Materials & Resources page, hover your cursor over Materials & Resources along the top header of the website to reveal its menu of options and click Search.
Alternatively, to begin to search for materials and resources using a keyword, type a search term into the search box within the Search Materials & Resources icon on the Materials & Resources menu page. Click the magnifying glass icon (or Enter key) to execute the search.
2. You may narrow your results by grade, subject, or course. Use the checkbox to select the relevant grade, subject, or course. To open a section that is collapsed, click the plus on the right hand side of the section label.
To search using your established preferences, click the Select a Preference drop down and select your desired preference (or create a new one).
Additionally, use Content Type and/or Content Collections filter(s) to further pare down your results.
3. Your results will display with a title, the type of resource (web-based content, lesson plans, etc.), and the grade levels associated with the resource, if applicable. Click the title of the resource to access it.
Click on the Results Per Page numbers to increase the quantity of results displayed on each page.
Use the page number buttons at the top or bottom of the results to navigate to the rest of the resources.
4. The resource page will show the related academic standards, big ideas, concepts, and competencies, and will provide a link to access the resource and any additional information about it (at the bottom). To print, email, or add the resource to your ePortfolio, click the Options button and make your desired selection.
