Go to the SAS homepage and click Login. When the login screen drops down, click the Forgot Password link. Fill in the information and your login credentials will be emailed to you. Please be sure to check your junk email folder, and to add the addresses email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org to your safe senders list in your email client to ensure you do not miss the email.
If it has been some time since you completed the Forgot Password form, you may want to contact the Help Desk via email at email@example.com or by phone at 1.877.973.3727 for assistance.
The PPID number is the Professional Personal Identification number that is assigned to each certified teacher within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. If you do not know your PPID number, please visit the PDE Professional Education Record Management System (PERMS) site, click "Get Your Professional Personal ID," and fill out the form to obtain your PPID.
Someone may have possibly been trying to impersonate you and login to your account. In order to keep your account secure, you may want to change your password and create a strong password that includes a combination of both numbers and letters.
Be sure to check your junk email folder, as some email systems have filtering systems that block email from unfamiliar sources. If you still have not received the email message, contact the Help Desk via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 1.877.973.3727.
Simply click the My SAS Tools menu, select Profile, and make any necessary changes. Be sure to save your changes. To change your password, click the Change My Password button here.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the web sites you are interested in. You save time by not needing to visit each site individually. RSS feeds can be read using software called a Feed Reader, or aggregator, which can be web-based, desktop-based, or mobile-device-based.
To become informed about the latest updates to the SAS portal, you may choose to subscribe to our RSS feed. Locate the SAS Portal Site Updates area at the bottom-left corner of the Home Page.
If you have an RSS Feed Reader, you may subscribe to the SAS Updates RSS Feed by following the steps below:
1.) Locate the RSS icon on the homepage (orange RSS symbol)
2.) Right click on the RSS icon
3.) Select "Copy Link Address/Location" to copy the URL of the feed
4.) Go to your RSS Feed Reader
5.) Paste the URL into your Feed reader
If you do not have an RSS Feed Reader, there are Feed Reader extensions available on Google Chrome and other browsers. There are also websites and apps available to compile all of your desired RSS feeds and updates if you wish. You can then add the link for the SAS feed to your feed reader.
You may also view the SAS Updates RSS Feed within your browser by clicking on the orange RSS symbol on the SAS homepage (without adding it to a feed reader).
